According to the National Institute of Mental Health Bipolar II is, “Bipolar II Disorder— defined by a pattern of depressive episodes and hypomanic episodes, but not the full-blown manic episodes from Bipolar I.”
Who am I?
- A tall, female, moderately musically inclined, lover of honey bees who roller skates a bit. I am a full-time student and part-time teacher.
- Someone with bipolar II, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, recovering insomniac human with OCD tendencies.
I am healing, surviving, and struggling.
What am I doing?
- Writing my thoughts out
- HOPEFULLY, helping others understand mental illness, its impact on individuals and their family and friends, and reducing the stigma on various forms of treatment
- Trying something new. Will I do this for years or weeks? Not sure. Will anyone see it? Not sure. But here it goes!
